"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:19, 20
Last words are chosen with care to leave a last impact, whether it's the last words to children going off to college or the last words of a parent departing this life. Jesus' last words captured by Matthew was "Go make disciples of all peoples!" To do this, we have to go where they are, baptize them, and teach them. These words are not difficult to understand. Are you obeying Jesus' last instructions?
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, remind me that there are no color lines with you. You sent your Son for ALL people, no matter their race, creed, or color. Help us to spread the Gospel to all people, so our churches may look like heaven, filled with all of God's people. Nudge me out my comfort zone and embolden me to be a witness to help others come to know you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
