31 Days of Prayer for Praise Center, the Nation, our Leadership, and more as we #MoveForward to our #Breakthrough.

Day 31: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Praise for Spiritual Revival In Our Life and at Praise Center

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed them that go a whoring from thee.  But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works."  Psalm 73:25-28

Thought

We made it!  #31DaysofPrayer requires faithfulness and perserverance.  Each day, we drew nigh to God and as He promised, He drew nigh to us (James 4:8).  God's presence brings about spiritual revival, enabling us to live holy lives and be the precious vessels he ordained us to be.  There's no one else I'd rather be with and because of that, I long for more of you.  I'm better prepared for 2017 because I took time out to make room for Jesus.  I'm ready to tackle any challenge, fight any battle, and go the distance for Him.  How about you?

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for spending time with me during these #31DaysofPrayer.  I see #Breakthrough and it's all because of you.  Continue to breath life into me that I may be pleasing to you and that your will may be accomplished in my life.  Your will is what I long for.  Your will is what I need.  I'm nothing without you, so I long for more of you today.  Fill me up until I overflow.  I want to run over in you.  Thank you!  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 30: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Victorious Faith

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."  1 John 5:4

Thought

As I review 2016, it has been a long and trying year and as Andrae Crouch sung, "I've learned to trust in Jesus, I've learned to trust in God. Through it all!"  Through it all, my faith has been strengthened and I'm now stronger because God was faithful and brought me through.  I was reminded that my destiny and my future is not limited to things in this world (Matthew 6:33), but they exceed my wildest imaginations because my faith is tied to my Resurrected and Victorious Savior who came that I might LIVE (John 10:10)!

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for the assurance of newness, victory, growth, hope and greater.  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 29: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Overflow

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."  John 14:14
Also read: 1 Corinthians 9:10 and John 10:10

Thought

Promises are something that should never be broken.  If you can't keep them, don't make them.  I'm thankful that God keeps all of His promises (Numbers 23:19).  He's a promise keeper.  No matter what you may have gone through in life, we don't have to fear because God will always be there and keeps His promises (Deuteronomy 31:6).  He reassures me that everything will work out (Romans 8:28), which gives me peace and hope and allows me to #MoveForward with confidence to the overflow He has prepared for me (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for being faithful and consistent.  When I get out of line and fall short, you remain the same and your love endures forever.  Thank you for never giving up on me.  Your consistency and faithfulness brings peace when life becomes unstable.  Thank you for being my rock and my shelter.  Thank you for being a Promise Keeper.  Because of who you are, I am who I am today.  Continue to have your way in me.  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 28: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Songs of Victory

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the heathen."  Psalm 98:1-2
Also read: Psalm 118:14-16

Thought

I don't know about you, I love to sing because songs bring joy into my life.  I may not be the best singer, but when I sing songs of praise and worship, I stop thinking about me and it focuses my thoughts on God, who has been good to me.  They also give me hope when situations in my life seem bleak.  We often make someone else's song our own, but our Scripture today encourages us to make up a new song for the Lord.  It doesn't have to rhyme and have a catchy tune.  Just express the sentiments of your heart and sing them to the glory of God our Father.

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of music and songs.  Thank you for allowing me to make a joyful noise unto you.  Receive my song of praise this day, as I sing to you the sentiments of my heart.  I love you and I can sing because of who you are, who you've been, and who you're going to be in my life.  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 27: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Humility

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being? declares the Lord.  These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word."  Isaiah 66:2
Also read: Psalm 149:4 and James 4:6

Thought

Jesus, who left heaven and made himself a servant, did so to enable the last to be first, the servant to be greatest, and the least to be the best. Jesus came to be the perfect example that we can follow and pattern our lives after.  He was humble in every way, but for ages, the arrogant, the abusive and the powerful have found it easy to reject the call of Christ — after all he died and they're "important" and have no need for a Savior. But those who are humble find him to not only be Savior, but also Conqueror, King, and Friend.  I humbly submit that I cannot do anything without Him (John 15:5).

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, I readily admit that I am nothing without you.  Thank you for all that you do in my life.  Thank you for life, health, strength, and a sound mind.  Thank you for sending your Son to be my example.  I need you, every hour, every minute and every second of each and every day.  Hide your words in my so I won't fail you.  I endeavor to put a smile on your face and be the honorable vessle you destined me to be.  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 26: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Victory In Answered Prayer

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation."  Psalm 118:21
Also read: Matthew 21:22

Thought

As we come quickly to the conclusion of our #31DaysofPrayer, it's important to know that He hears us (1 John 5:14) and that our commitment to prayer will yield great results (James 5:16).  Our travailing in prayer for #Breakthrough and #Victory is not in vain and with great expectation, we should look for our harvest in 2017.  Because you have made up in your mind to pray, I give you the blessings of Bishop Charles Blake, Sr., "you are somewhere in the future and you look much better than you look right now!"

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, day after day I've grown stronger because I've committed to taking time to pray.  Thank you for being a prayer answering Savior.  Let my praying not be in vain, but bless everyone that I've prayed for.  Bless everyone that have joined the early morning calls.  Bless everyone that have invested, and will invest, in this ministry.  With great anticipation, I look forward to seeing the fruit of my labor.  Blessings are mine.  Great things are ahead.  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 25: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: No Enemy Can Reach You

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries."  Exodus 23:22
Also read: Psalm 62:7 and Luke 6:27-30

Thought

Our life is in God's Hands.  If we obey Him, He is everything that we need and more.  But when we disobey, we lose out on the safety and protection that He provides to His own.  We cannot achieve lasting honor, nor can we secure our future without Him.  All of our accomplishments in this life occur when we willingly place our lives in His care.  As the world changes on a daily basis, God never changes.  He's the same yesterday, today and forever.  He is a Promise Keeper.  I'm going to put my trust in Him.  How about you?

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, You are my rock and my fortress.  You are my everything.  I submit to your will and surrender completely to you.  Take charge of my present and my future.  Use me for your glory.  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 24: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: By Jesus' Wounds You Are Healed

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."  Isaiah 53:5
Also read: Matthew 8:17 and 1 Peter 2:24

Thought

I'm not sure how He did it, but Jesus bore the weight of the world on His shoulder while hanging on Calvary's cross.  My sin, your sin, and our sin, was upon Him so that we would not have to pay the price for our transgressions.  As horrible and brutal as His sacrifice was, we find our healing, deliverance, and peace because of it.  What a mighty God we serve.  He did this for me!

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, I can't help but to say thank you over and over again because of what you've done for me.  Jesus was pierced, crushed, and punished so I can be reclaimed by you.  Let me not forget the cost of your great love.  Constantly stir in me the memory of your redemptive grace that looks beyond my faults and sees my needs.  Again, thank you!  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 23: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: You Are More Than a Conqueror

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."  Romans 8:37
Also read: Ephesians 6:10-12 and 1 John 5:4

Thought

From Tasha Cobb's Confidence, "I've go so much faith in you, Lord I trust your word it's true, no matter the circumstance, my life is in your hands. I've got confidence, so much confidence in you."  Because of Christ, I'm unstoppable (Philippians 4:13, Isaiah 54:17, Romans 8:31), I'm limitless (Psalm 84:11, Philippians 4:19), and I'm victorious (Deuteronomy 20:4, 2 Chronicles 20:17).  No need to worry and no need to doubt.  My God can, and my God will.  My confidence is not in myself because I sometimes fail, but the God that I serve NEVER fails and always shows up right on time!  I am more than a conqueror because of Him.

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, you are are great God and because of your greatness, I can be great as well.  Because of who you are, I don't have to fear anything in this world.  Storm clouds may rise, strong winds may blow, but everything is in your hands.  Just knowing your track record and who you are reassures me when life gets tough.  If you brought me to it, you can bring me through it.  I've got confidence in you.  Thank you!  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

Day 22: 31 Days of Prayer

31-Days-Of-Prayer2Prayer Focus: Healing and Revival

Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203

"And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."  James 5:15
Also read: Psalm 85:6 and Mark 10:52

Thought

Did you know that faith activates the wonder working power of God in our lives?  If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains (Luke 17:6).  It doesn't take much faith for God to do great things!  In addition, God uses His great power to forgive our sins as well.  With true repentance, God restores, revives, and renews His people (1 John 1:9).  What do you need from the Lord today?  I urge you to have a little talk with Jesus.  He's waiting just for you!

Prayer

Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, please forgive me of all my sins.  I confess them freely to you now (be specific about sins you want to confess).  Having you in my life is important to me.  Heal me of all hurts and harms that stop me from fulfilling the purpose and plans that you have for my life. With you all things are possible.  Please revive me again and empower me to love, holy living, and good works so that your name will be praised.  Again, I thank you for being you!  In Jesus' Name,  Amen.
