“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" Matthew 6:25-26

How can I live like life is more than food and clothing? With bills are piling up and ends are not always meeting, fear and worry always creep up and rear their ugly faces. But Jesus reminds us not to fear. Yesterday we were reminded that He is our everything. Everything we need, He can provide (Philippians 4:19), He can add (Matthew 6:33), and He can handle (Philippians 4:6-7). Don't settle for temporary fixes, but look to the one who provides eternal solutions. God desires that we live abundant lives (John 10:10). Live!
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, remove fear and worry from my thoughts and my vocabulary. I know that you are able to do anything but fail. Help me to seek after you over chasing the things of this world. I want you more than anything. You are the solution to every one of my problems. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
