“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
Who can do it? God can! If we gain anything from this scripture, we should understand that "God can." When I think that I have it going on and I can do no wrong, I'm reminded that my high standards do not compare to God's righteousness (Isaiah 64:6). But when God is involved in our lives, there is nothing that He cannot do (Genesis 18:14, Jeremiah 32:27). The saints of old would say "He's a keeper" and it brings him joy to do just that. My faultlessness when I stand before Him is not based on my actions, but on His grace and mercy. Isn't He worthy to be praised and adored?
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, I wanted to thank you for being God all by yourself. Everyday you are the same. Thank you for not only keeping me, but for allowing me to be the apple of your eye. You take great care of me and I can walk in confidence knowing that I belong to you. I submit to your will and your way for my life that I may be able to stand before your throne faultless. Thank you! In Jesus Name, Amen.
